Hello! I’m Shannon—a newborn, baby, and children's photographer based in Chico, serving families throughout Butte County. My style is simple: keep it relaxed, keep it moving, and make it fun.

Kids do best when it doesn’t feel like a big “photo performance,” so I like to give simple guidance and work with their personalities—whether they’re shy, silly, or full-speed from the start. Newborn sessions are slow-paced and cozy—I’ll guide you the whole way.

Parents often tell me they’re amazed at how quickly their kids warm up, and how many real smiles we get. My goal is for you to leave thinking, “That was easier than I expected,” and later have photos you’re proud to hang in your home.

Most sessions take place in my home studio, and I’m happy to do on-location sessions around Butte County when that fits your family best. I also offer imaginative composite portraits for children—playful, storybook-style artwork that’s truly one-of-a-kind.
